Noson Lawen Cwmystwyth

A special evening of Folk Songs to celebrate a 100 years since the birth of Dr. Meredydd Evans (Mered) who collected, transcribed and researched welsh folk songs. By doing so he ensured that they were not lost forever. His contribution to the folk tradition, the welsh language and culture is immeasurable. A soloist, folk band, a male voice and ladies choir will take part. Proceeds will go to the National Eisteddfod to be held in Tregaron in 2020.
